Data Deletion

You can cut off ReplyBird's access to Google at any time, and ask us to delete everything we hold about you. Here's exactly how, and what happens next.

1. Stop access right away

Either of these takes effect immediately:

After that we can't read your reviews or post anything to Google.

2. Delete your account and data

  • Send a request with our contact form (topic: Delete my data), or email support@getreplybird.com from the email address on your account. Include your business name.
  • We confirm the request within 1 business day (Monday to Friday). If the email doesn't match your account, we'll check it's really you first.
  • We delete your data within 30 days and email you when it's done. Any running plan is canceled so you aren't charged again.

What we delete

  • Your account: name, email and sign-in details.
  • Your businesses and settings: reply tone, rules, alerts, and Google post and widget settings.
  • Our copies of your Google reviews, reply drafts and reply history.
  • Customer contact lists you uploaded and the history of review-request emails.
  • Monthly reports, review insights, competitor tracking and phone notification subscriptions.
  • Your Google connection, including the encrypted access token.

What stays, and why

  • Replies already posted on Google are public replies on your Business Profile, and they're yours. They stay until you delete them in Google Business Profile or Google Maps.
  • Payment records (invoices and amounts) are kept by us and by PayPal, Razorpay or Lemon Squeezy for as long as tax and accounting laws require.
  • Backups are cleared on a rolling basis, so deleted data disappears from them within a few weeks.

If you left a review for a business that uses us

Your review lives on Google, so you can edit or delete it in Google Maps at any time. We keep a copy only so the business can reply to it. To have our copy removed, contact us with the business name and the name shown on your review.

If a business emailed you a review request

Every review-request email has an unsubscribe link, and one click stops that business from emailing you through ReplyBird. To have your email address deleted from their list as well, contact us.
