Security

Your Google account is safe with us

Connecting your Business Profile is a big step, so here is exactly how we protect it — in plain English. Questions? Ask us anytime at support@getreplybird.com.

Google sign-in, not passwords

You connect through Google's own screen. We never see your Google password. We ask only for access to manage your Business Profile and to see your email address — nothing in Gmail, Drive or anything else.

Signing in to ReplyBird is passwordless too: Google sign-in or a one-time email link. There's no ReplyBird password that could leak.

Encrypted, in transit and at rest

Every connection to ReplyBird uses HTTPS.

Your Google access key is encrypted with AES-256-GCM before it's saved, and the database itself is encrypted at rest by our database provider.

Your account is walled off

Each account can only reach its own businesses. This is enforced inside the database itself (row-level security), not just hidden in the app.

Only the replies you allow

You choose, per star rating, which reviews get an automatic reply and which wait for your approval. By default, 1–3 star reviews always wait for you.

We can't delete or edit anyone's review, and we never post reviews.

We never see your card

Payments are handled by PayPal, Razorpay or Lemon Squeezy — PCI-compliant payment providers. Your card or PayPal details go to them, not to us.

Who can look at your account

Only a small number of named ReplyBird staff can open the support panel, and only to help you. Every support action is logged with who did it and when.

We don't sell your data, show ads, or use your reviews for anything except your account.

Frequently asked questions

Can ReplyBird see my Google password?

No. You connect through Google's own sign-in screen, and Google gives ReplyBird a limited access key for your Business Profile. We never see or store your password.

Can ReplyBird delete or change my reviews?

No. Nobody but the reviewer can edit or delete a Google review. We can only post and update your replies, and only the ones you approve or your reply rules allow.

Is my data used to train AI?

No. Replies are written with Anthropic's Claude API, and under Anthropic's commercial terms your data isn't used to train their models.

How do I remove ReplyBird's access?

Click Disconnect in Settings, or remove ReplyBird at myaccount.google.com/permissions. Access stops immediately.
